https://ejournal.arunikamedianusantara.com/index.php/tefl/article/view/3
<p>The purpose of this study is to find out the significant effect of the use of the word wall website on enriching students' vocabulary mastery more effectively compared to traditional learning methods, such as reading, memorizing vocabulary, and to find out students' perceptions after using the word wall website in learning English vocabulary. The location of this research was at SMPN 4 Majene. This research used a quasi-experimental design. In this study, the population was class IX students, totaling 80 students; the samples of this study were two classes, consisting of 20 students each. The experimental group was taught using word wall website, while the control group used conventional methods. Treatment was conducted in 4 meetings. The research data was collected using two types of instruments, namely tests (pre-test and post-test) and student perception questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed that in the experimental group the mean post-test score (76.50) was higher than the mean pre-test score (70.50), it can be seen that the mean score of each class was increased, but the improvement in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In addition, Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.011 which is smaller than the significance level (0.05). This means that there is a significant difference between the mean value of students' post-test in the experimental group and the mean value of students' post-test in the control group. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. The results of the student perception questionnaire related to the recapitulation of questionnaire data regarding the usefulness and enjoyment of the word wall website, show that most students have a very positive response to the use of the word wall website and produce an mean value (86%).</p>Hikmawati Yusuf

This study aims to develop and produce digital-based learning media to improve students’ English vocabulary and to determine students’ perceptions of learning media that are developed. The type of research method in this study is R&D (Research and Development) method with 4D development model which is then simplified into 3D (define, design, and development). The subject of this study were students of Class VII SMP Negeri 5 Campalagian which amounted to 24 students. The instruments used in this study were interviews and questionnaires used to test the feasibility of the product and determine the perception of students. The results obtained in this study are (1) Digital-based learning media made in the form of android applications to improve students’ English vocabulary and named is LEV (Learning English Vocabulary). Learning media has gone through 3 stages of development namely <em>define, design, </em>and <em>development</em> and has been tested for feasibility by 2 experts, namely media experts and material experts. (2) learning media is stated to be interesting based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of students perceptions of the developed media that is 100% and based on the results of interviews conducted by researcher on 10 students regarding their comments on the developed media that they provide positive comments on the learning media.</p>Nanda Febriana

https://ejournal.arunikamedianusantara.com/index.php/tefl/article/view/5
<p>This study aims to produce an android-based media and improve the understanding of Grammar students in the English language. This type of research is research and development which refers to the 4D development model: definition, design, development, and Disseminate. The purpose of R&D development is to produce application products and verify the effectiveness of learning videos, identify the need to develop products, and validate products that meet the requirements, and criteria for effectiveness and efficiency. The subjects of this study were Class X TO and Class X TJKT SMKN Campalagian. This research uses questionnaire instruments, namely (1) a media expert validation sheet to measure the feasibility of media, (2) a material validation sheet to measure the feasibility of media, (3) a student response questionnaire to determine the response of students to the attractiveness of the media developed. The findings showed that the process of creating Android-based interactive learning media had reached the define stage, which included front-end, student, concept, task, and learning objective formulation. This included creating learning materials, choosing media, and creating an initial design. Develop which consists of testing the feasibility/validity of product revisions, trials, and initial designs, and disseminate which consists of the influence of Android application-based learning media on improving student grammar skills. and Learning media declared effective based on the results of data analysis, Researcher found that there is an effect or there is a significant increase. The average value of the post-test experimental class is 83.13 while the value of the post-test Control class is 63.30. https://ejournal.arunikamedianusantara.com/index.php/tefl/article/view/7
<p>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Flashvocal learning media in improving students' writing skills and their interest in learning to write English. Flashvocal is an interactive learning media that combines visual, audio, and written text elements that aim to improve students' language skills, especially in composing descriptive texts. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach involving two classes of eighth grade students at SMPN 1 Tinambung. One class as an experimental class uses Flashvocal in learning, while the control class is taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, and questionnaires to determine changes in students' writing skills and learning interests. The results of data analysis showed that although there was an increase in the average post-test score in the experimental class from 9.68 to 11.84, the results of the Independent Samples T-Test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.436, greater than 0.05. This indicates that there is no statistically significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of improving writing skills. However, based on descriptive analysis and student responses through questionnaires, the use of Flashvocal showed a positive influence in improving writing organization, idea development, and student motivation in writing. Thus, Flashvocal has practical potential in increasing student engagement and enriching the writing learning process in the classroom.</p>Putri Ramadhani M
